(Washington, D.C.) - Montana's U.S. Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester announced today a Justice Department grant to help the Butte City Police and Butte-Silver Bow County Sheriff's purchase new non-lethal weapons and ammunition.
"This investment will help officers with training while making sure they have the tools to keep the communities they serve as safe as possible," said Baucus, a longtime supporter of Montana law enforcement grants.
"This is a smart investment that will go a long ways to help Butte's top-notch officers keep the community safe," Tester said.
