(Washington, D.C.) - Montana's senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus released the following statement on the passing of U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii:
"Danny Inouye was a true American hero if there ever were one. Our country is a better place because of his dedication to service, and his legacy of patriotism and leadership will inspire generations to come. Mel and I send our deepest condolences to his wife Irene, his family and all the people of Hawaii."
